Buffalo earthquake: 3.8 magnitude quake reported in West Seneca, New York

uncategorized

Looking at the skyline right there I just want to mention that you know we were just talking about the potential of an earthquake near Buffalo New York and that USGS the United States Geological Survey which is responsible for officially monitoring every earthquake in the country has just now popped that up two kilometers east Northeast of West.

Seneca New York they're calling it a 3.8 but initial reports were anywhere from a 4.2 to a 4.4 and the Canada earthquake system was measuring it before the USGS so overall it was a slow response from the USGS and getting that information out but you guys on Twitter and of course our Newsroom all very active exactly at 6 15 when this earthquake.

Occurred we'll know more about it 4.4 is nothing like the seven plus that was going on in turkey and it's within the realm of hey we get them on the East Coast as well but we just want to make sure everyone's okay and we'll be monitoring the news and let you know what's going on with that 41 degrees outside cloudy.

Sharing is caring!
